Riding School Espoo Stable
Espoo Stable is a riding school in Espoonkartano. Espoo Stable was born out of a love for riding and a passion for teaching. We offer riding lessons for children, young people and adults – for all ages and life situations. We understand that riding can be a fun shared hobby for a child and parent, competitive sport at its fullest, or an important way to build a relationship with animals and nature later in life as well. Goals may differ, but horses bring us together.
With us you can enjoy the hobby flexibly according to your own schedule and purchase a single lesson, a 5-lesson card, a 10-lesson card, or if you want to ride regularly, reserve a spot in a regular lesson. Everyone gets to participate in the practice competitions organized at the stable. For those more interested in goal-oriented training and competing, we have dedicated coaching groups.
We want the stable to be a welcoming place to come to, and to leave with a smile on your face. The beautiful surroundings and clean facilities make it a joy to pursue the hobby and work here.
Our riding school is located in a prestigious historic setting on the Espoonkartano estate. King Gustav Vasa founded Espoonkartano in 1556. In 1756, Governor Anders Henrik Ramsay purchased the manor. Now, 260 years later, the manor is still in the care of the Ramsay family's descendants. Espoonkartano and its surroundings are protected sites under the Finnish Heritage Agency. We, the entrepreneurs of Espoo Stable riding school, also wish to honour and cherish the long history and traditions of the manor and its surroundings. History is important to us as well. The Tollet family served in the military and as keepers of cavalry estates during the 17th–19th centuries. A love of horses seems to run in our blood.
